We looked for interesting gems that matched Pantone’s Color of the Year (Marsala) and the other gemstones in the Spring/Summer family. We also went a step further and followed Pantone’s lead by identifying gems that “pair well with” the primary colors of choice.
Leatrice Eiseman, executive director, Pantone Color Institute described it as “hearty yet stylish tone,” and that it “embodies the satisfying richness of a fulfilling meal while its grounding red-brown roots emanate a sophisticated, natural earthiness.” Gem connoisseur can rejoice. There is a wealth of gems that mirror Marsala.
Aquamarine and Tahitian Pearl also compliment Marsala quite nicely.
